Introducing Todd Pefferman, FORVIS Tax Partner
Todd has more than 24 years of public accounting experience and leads FORVIS’ Oklahoma City tax practice. He is a member of the Construction & Real Estate Practice, the Financial Services Practice, and the Manufacturing and Distribution group. He provides specialized income tax planning, consulting, and compliance services for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and limited liability companies.
He routinely speaks at the annual Financial Services Symposium, co-produced by FORVIS and Oklahoma Bankers Association. Todd presented on the impact of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (TCJA) to local groups associated with Oklahoma Society of CPAs (OSCPA), Institute of Management Accountants, Accounting & Financial Women’s Alliance, Construction Financial Management Association, and Economic Club of Oklahoma, as well as put on a TCJA roundtable for clients and other friends of the firm. Todd has been published in OSCPA’s bimonthly magazine multiple times and participated in several television, newspaper, and radio interviews requiring CPA insight. He gave three presentations on tax implications for those affected by natural disasters to more than 400 victims of the May 20, 2013 tornado in Moore, Oklahoma. Todd annually hosts students from Cameron University’s accounting program for an office visit, presentation, and open Q&A and has presented for Oklahoma State University’s graduate tax research class.
He is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and OSCPA and is active with the Oklahoma City Estate Planning Council. The Journal Record recognized Todd as one of its 2014 Achievers Under 40 and OSCPA recognized him as one of its 2015 Trailblazers. Todd is a graduate of Leadership Oklahoma City Class 36 and the OKConnect Community Orientation Program, presented in partnership by LOKC and the Greater Oklahoma City Chamber.
Todd currently serves as a board member of the YMCA of Greater Oklahoma City and First Serve OKC, where he also serves as Treasurer. He formerly was chair of the board of directors and Treasurer for Ronald McDonald House Charities of Oklahoma City. He is also a current member of the Economic Club of Oklahoma. He chairs FORVIS Foundation’s Oklahoma City Advisory Committee and formerly served as Oklahoma Co-Champion of FORVIS’ SKY initiative promoting diversity and inclusion.
He is a 1998 graduate of Missouri Southern State University, Joplin, with a B.S. degree in accounting and a minor in computer science.
