Introducing Dr. Russell Evans, Partner & Chief Economist at Thorberg Collectorate:

Dr. Evans serves as Partner and Chief Economist at Thorberg Collectorate and President of the collectorate’s Regional Economic Advisers division. Thorberg Collectorate is an industry-agnostic private equity firm bringing alternative investments to a growing Oklahoma investor base. As the Collectorate’s chief economist, Dr. Evans closely monitors national and regional economic conditions to inform the firm’s investment thesis. The collectorate’s Regional Economic Advisers division consults regularly with municipalities, financial institutions, and industry groups. Dr. Evans previously held a position as a professor of economics at Oklahoma City University and served as interim dean of the Meinders School of Business.

Dr. Evans is highly regarded as an economic communicator, making complex economic theories accessible to engaged audiences. The ability to conduct and communicate technical analysis has provided opportunities to consult with various industries such as oil and gas, gaming, banking, municipal government, manufacturing, and many more. The work of Dr. Evans and his staff are regularly recognized in local, regional, and national media markets. He is a member of the American Economic Association and the National Association for Business Economics and a Trustee of the Oklahoma City Community Foundation. Dr. Evans lives and works with his wife and five children in Oklahoma City. He enjoys golf, fly fishing, and actively serving in his church and community when not in the office.
